Hand weaving in South London

Roz Cottrell is a woven textile designer creating collections and one-off pieces on an Electronic Loom, in her studio in South London. She studied weave at the Royal College of Art and has worked on various freelance projects collaborating with Architects and furniture designers, as well as a weave technician role at Chelsea college of Art.

She currently has a collection of bespoke cushions using a plain warp and extra weft pattening. This collection has been developed by playing with simple shapes and a limited colour palette, using the warp like a page in a sketch book.

The cushions are woven in one piece with an extra weft pattern on the front and a plain colour on the back. Each cushion is an individual piece with its own colour matched zip and a duck feather filler.
