Hand weaving in South London
Roz Cottrell is a textile designer working with an Electronic Loom in South London. She studied weave at the Royal College of Art and has experience as a freelance collaborator with architects and furniture designers, as well as prior work as a weave technician at Chelsea College of Art.
The current collection consists of bespoke cushions created using a plain warp and extra weft patterning. The work uses simple shapes and a limited colour palette, using the warp like a page in a sketch book.
Each cushion features:
- One-piece weave construction
- Extra weft pattern on the front; plain colour on the back
- Individual colour-matched zips
- Duck feather filling
